Four Months

Mackenzie,
You turned 4 months old on November 28...and you spent the entire day sitting in your carseat on the way home from Arkansas.  I know you probably didn't have a good day but you were such a good girl for mommy and daddy.  We can't believe what a good, sweet baby you are.  But we would love you just as much even if you didn't sleep and cried all the time (but don't get any ideas, smart girl!).

You went to the doctor for your 4 month appointment a few days later.  You were so brave getting your shots but you did cry a little bit.  You are 13.5 pounds (50th percentile) and 25.5 inches long (90th percentile).  The big news is that you get to start on cereal soon!!

What you are up to:
  • You found your feet and you love them!
  • EVERYTHING is going into your mouth.
  • You have been to a total of 9 states now: Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and new this month Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
  • You got to meet your Grampa Frank, Gramma JuJu, Uncle Travis, cousins Hayden and Carsen, Great-Uncle Tom, James, Hollie, and Ella.
  • You had your first Thanksgiving.
  • You are wearing some 3 months and some 6 months clothes...depends on what it is!  I had to pack up a lot of your clothes this month!
  • You are still in size 2 diapers.
  • You are eating 5.5 ounces 4-5 times per day and sleeping all night 10-12 hours with 2 good naps during the day.
  • You love to talk and babble, smile and laugh, and blow bubbles.
  • You are SO SWEET.  We love you SO incredibly much!!
A few pictures from the month...

(Most of these pictures are from my phone...my goal is to do a better job of taking pictures!)

Mackenzie, we love you!
