You have changed so much this month. You are learning new things every single day. It is so much fun watching you explore and discover everything. We are so lucky to be your parents and I love spending every day with you!
8 Months
March 28, 2011
- You started crawling March 6. It didn't take you long to become a pro. You know where you want to be and you make it happen!
- You got your first two teeth! They are the bottom front ones. You still aren't sure what is in your mouth and you spend a lot of time feeling them with your hands and your tongue.
- You say Dadda and have said Mama a few times but you don't know what your saying and you don't associate either name with us.
- You started pulling yourself up already! You pulled yourself up on mommy's leg while she was on the floor with you on March 25. You will reach out to hold someone's hands and pull yourself all the way up to standing.
- You are into everything!
- Your favorite toy is your music table right now.
- You have become very bashful around strangers. You will lay your head down on mommy's shoulder when you see someone new. You also will not smile at new people.
- You love Max and will stick your hands in his face all the time.
- You also love the buckles on your high chair and carseat. You have to grab them as soon as you are in the seat and it makes it difficult to strap you in.
- On your 8 month birthday, you had your first visit to the doctor that wasn't a "well baby check-up." You have eczema and we got a prescription for a steroid cream.
- You weighed 18.5 pounds.
- Grandma came to visit and you got to spend an entire week with her. You got off schedule every single day but you were still a very good girl.
- You laugh so hard when Daddy dances with you. You love it!
