Mackenzie got her first (sponge) bath August 2nd, the day after we got home.
It wasn't too bad before the water!
Daddy cut fingernails.
Then the water started...
But this made it all better!!
Finally all warm in the duck towel!!
Bathtime has surprisingly not been too bad! She actually doesn't hate it. The lights above our kitchen island give off a lot of heat so Mackenzie stays pretty warm!
She is such a doll!! If she gets to where she doesn't like the bath time too much, an idea u can try for newborns (since they are used to being in womb) u can cover her in a towel kinda wrapped around her and just pull it up for the parts u are bathing then cover back up and move to the next part. It works, and makes them feel more secure, especially if she ever gets that "frailing" like she's frightened and throws her arms up. I can't remember who told me that trick, but after I started doing it, it was like a miracle!
